BIOGRAPHY
Kevin Casey is a professor of History at vnsr威尼斯城官网登入 College, where he has taught since 1987. He previously served as the dean of vnsr威尼斯城官网登入 College’s School of Arts and Sciences. He teaches courses on American and Latin American history, the modern world, U.S. foreign relations and historical research. Prior to coming to vnsr威尼斯城官网登入, Casey taught at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S. Dakota, Hastings College in Hastings, Neb., and North Central College in Naperville, Ill.
Casey published a book on U.S. foreign economic policy during World War II and the early Cold War period, as well as a number of articles on history teaching. He is also an expert on evaluating student learning, outcome based teaching, student assessment and teaching history, and has given numerous presentations across the country on these topics. He’s also been interviewed by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Casey earned his PhD and Master of Arts in History from Northern Illinois University, and his Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from the University of Minnesota – Morris.
